Think Tank Advocacy

On June 2, 2022, the last day of school the advocacy continued. Students are lobbying for "Safer Schools Now". In relation to the recent gun shootings, students walked out 20 minutes prior to the close of school. In a speech by Ethnic Studies Teacher, Ms. Andrea Flores, she mentioned that students have the power to make transformative change. Students want their voices heard and want to make a difference.
